Trout Girl Plus Four

This past weekend my mum came to visit us in Illinois for the first time. I thought the best way to show her Chicago, since I don’t know it very well, was to take a boat tour:

Here we are on the boat on a beautiful summer day. It actually got quite hot and we had a touch of sunburn. There was much to learn and the view of the buildings from the river was spectacular. I highly recommend it to anyone.

It was wonderful to have my mum here and show her not only our new city but our new home. Best part was the weather, even Friday agrees:
